All eyes are on the NBA star as the Knicks take a rocky start to the season, but his real estate moves remain impressive off court.
All eyes are on NBA star Mikal Bridges as the New York Knicks are stumbling through the beginning of the 2026–27 regular season without a win.
Having played an integral role in helping the team secure the 2026 NBA Championship, the small forward is certainly one to watch as the Knicks find their footing.
Some commentators claim that Bridges, 30, is underperforming—with Yardbarker sportswriter Sean Keane pointing out that he may be fatigued, as he’s “suited up for every game of his nine-year career, which includes 76 playoff games” and currently holds the record for the longest-active streak of consecutive games played.
While Bridges’ early efforts have left fans largely unimpressed this season, he’s made quite a few remarkable moves off the court.
According to ESPN, Bridges will earn a cool $33.5 million salary this season—a figure that does not even consider what he may pull in through additional endeavors such as brand endorsements, performance bonuses, or appearances.

In May 2024—just before Bridges was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Knicks in July of the same year—he dropped $5.99 million on an impressive loft in Tribeca in a flash auction, the New York Post reported.
At the time of the transaction, the listing’s brokers were Nicole Palermo and celebrity real estate agent Ryan Serhant.
Bridges’ four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom abode provides 5,228 square feet of interior living space spread across two levels. The roomy duplex also features 625 square feet of private space to be enjoyed outdoors.
The building was erected in 1861 and still features much of its original charm with exposed brick arches throughout Bridges’ abode.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, and a decorative fireplace are some of the most charming characteristics of the space, which also includes a home gym, a yoga studio, an office, and sizable laundry facilities.

The move came on the heels of the sale of his 7,000-square-foot mansion in Paradise Valley, AZ. (Google Earth) The ceilings are also soaring at 12.5 feet—just under double the height of Bridges’ 6-foot-6 stature.
Before finding a slice of Manhattan to call his own, Bridges splashed out on a lavish home in Arizona, where he began his professional career with the Phoenix Suns after his time playing for Villanova.
The athlete purchased a 7,000-square-foot Paradise Valley, AZ, dwelling for just over $6 million in November 2021, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.
The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home hosts a jaw-dropping list of amenities across its 7,000 square feet, including retractable glass walls, a chef’s kitchen, and a primary suite with its own outdoor shower.
Bridges held on to the modern farmhouse until he was traded to the Nets for NBA legend Kevin Durant in February 2023.
Just days after the move was made, Bridges spoke out to explain that he completely understood the decision and was “just being a realist at the end of the day.”
“Obviously, I’m going to miss everyone there, miss my home, miss all my friends that’s back there, but I get it,” Bridges said at the time. “You’re getting Kevin Durant, bro. Maybe I would have probably made that trade, too.”
In the wake of the cross-country move, the athlete listed his Arizona home for $7 million in May 2023, just about a year and a half after he picked it up. The resortlike mansion quickly found a buyer, with Bridges closing the deal at $6,675,000 cash that same month.
As Bridges agreed to a four-year $150 million contract extension with the Knicks in July 2025, it’s unlikely that he’ll be making another long-distance move anytime soon.
