The engaged couple announced the exciting news during a "Dancing With the Stars" performance, during which they also learned the gender.
Reality TV personality Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, are getting ready to expand their family.
“The Bachelorette” alum, 33, who is now a real estate agent, shared the news with the world during the Oct. 22 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Alongside dance professional Sharna Burgess, the engaged couple performed a contemporary dance routine as part of the competition’s “Dedication Night.” The number began as a tribute to “mothers everywhere,” including Cameron’s mom, Andrea Cameron, who died in February 2020 at the age of 55 after suffering a brain aneurysm.
That's when Madden revealed her growing baby bump.
“You would have loved the woman I’m going to marry. All of the things that made you special, I found in her,” Cameron said in a pre-recorded voice message that played during the dance.

And we’re going to have a baby,” he continued. “I can’t believe I’m going to be a dad. Wish you were here. I hope that I make you proud. I love you and miss you every day.”
Cameron’s mother never had the chance to meet Madden, as the couple began dating in September 2023, according to E! News.
The soon-to-be parents got to know each other when Madden worked as a social media content creator on the home renovation series “Going Home With Tyler Cameron.”
During an appearance on the “Casual Chaos With Gia Giudice,” she revealed their paths had actually crossed as early as 2020, although Cameron “does not remember meeting” her then.
After receiving the judges’ post-performance critiques, the couple learned the gender of the baby on live TV. Pink confetti exploded across the ballroom, revealing their first child will be a girl.

The couple shared more about their excitement for the future in an interview with People magazine, adding that they found out about the pregnancy “the night” they returned from getting engaged on Aug. 15.
“It’s going to change everything in our lives,” said Cameron. “Our parents gave us a great life, and I want us to give this little baby an even greater life. Everything that we learn from our families, take the best of it and instill it into our kids.”
Cameron and Madden noted that they are going to wait to plan a wedding for now, but are already thinking of how they’ll prepare their Jupiter, FL, abode for the new addition.
“We’ve got to get this house babyproof and ready for a baby,” he said. “We’ve got to build a nursery. All these things that we’re really excited for.”

The project was documented on Cameron’s home improvement show, and he opened up about the process in a 2024 People magazine interview.
“I was going to surprise her by renovating this house for her,” he said. “It definitely broke my heart that we made this beautiful house and couldn’t hand her the keys.”
While Cameron said the experience was "cathartic," he explained that it gave him “closure” and that he believes his mother would have “loved” the changes they made to the home—because some of those changes were on his mom’s wish list.
In a 2025 Entertainment Tonight home tour, the couple walked through some of their favorite corners of the updated house, including a charming great room with a soaring ceiling that Madden loves to host friends in and Cameron’s personal home gym.
“We thought the original house was quirky but we felt if we leaned into it, we could come up with a design we loved that wouldn’t feel like a typical house you see in South Florida,” Cameron wrote in a June 10, 2025, Instagram post.
“We wanted this to feel like an escape. We wanted a French cottage feel that had character. That blended old and new. Antiques mixed with new furniture,” he continued. “This is the first house we can both truly call our own and together we made it a home.”
