Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian Reveal What They Really Think of Sister Kim’s Outrageous Home Addition

In the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Kylie joined Kourtney for a tour of her home, which has been undergoing extensive renovations.

Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian aren't holding back when it comes to their sister Kim Kardashian's jaw-dropping 8,000-square-foot closet, admitting that the enormous space might be a little excessive—even by their family's extravagant standards.

In the latest episode of "The Kardashians," Kylie, 29, joined Kourtney, 47, for a tour of her home, which has been undergoing an extensive renovation that has stretched far beyond its original timeline.

Kourtney revealed that the project was initially expected to take just 10 months but will have lasted three years by the time she finally moves in.

As the sisters explored the property, they stopped by several of its luxurious spaces, including the kitchen, a glam room, and what Kourtney described as a "grownup room." The home also features multiple fireplaces.

However, it was a visit to Kourtney's future closet that prompted the sisters to discuss Kim's considerably larger wardrobe space.

“Kourtney, it’s actually the craziest thing I’ve ever seen,” Kylie said of Kim's sprawling closet.

“Like, offensive?” Kourtney asked.

“It’s a little bit offensive. I mean, it’s so her, and she has so many things that she doesn’t want to get rid of," Kylie replied.

The episode then flashed back to footage of Kim showing off the progress of her own home renovations, including the massive room dedicated entirely to her wardrobe.

“This entire thing is my closet,” Kim explained while touring the 8,000-square-foot space, revealing that the property also offers additional storage underground.

Even Kim appeared to recognize the extravagance of the project.

“I said to my mom, ‘I think I overdid it,’” she joked.

Back at Kourtney's home, the reality star made it clear that she had no desire to compete with her sister's enormous closet, particularly as she continues to wait for her own renovation to be completed.

“I don’t need an 11,000-square-foot closet, but I just need to get my remodel done,” Kourtney quipped.

The sisters' playful criticism comes just weeks after Kim's mansion was reportedly targeted in a bizarre attempted burglary.

The incident resulted in a man's arrest after he allegedly took a staff member's vehicle for a joyride.

Police officers arrived at the reality star's $60 million Hidden Hills home on the afternoon of Aug. 9, when they discovered that a suspect had forced his way through one of the doors of the property, which is currently under renovation.

The Skims founder, 45, and her children North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, are not currently living in the residence, having moved out temporarily while the home is given an overhaul, as first reported by TMZ.

According to the outlet, a security guard spotted the suspect removing items from the TV personality's property and placing them inside a vehicle.

According to the outlet, Kardashian and her children have been residing in a rental property for the past several months.

Despite the officers' report, Kardashian's representatives told TMZ that the suspect never gained access to the home and the TV star does not have any of her belongings inside the property.

Kardashian purchased the property for $20 million in 2014 while she was still married to rapper Kanye West, 49. However, in 2018, family matriarch Kris Jenner insisted that the property was worth $60 million while responding to a post about the dwelling on X.

The dwelling had served as the primary residence for the couple, who eventually divorced in 2022. Kardashian reportedly paid $23 million to retain the dwelling after their split and continued to live there with their four children.

In November 2024, images of the property emerged that showed it was undergoing major construction. Then, in April 2025, new photos obtained exclusively by Realtor.com® revealed the true extent of that work.
