In the most recent attempt to sell the Amagansett estate, the real estate team behind it has marketed a connection to Marilyn Monroe.
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s expansive Hamptons estate is back on the market for a fifth time, complete with fresh new photos—and surprising new insight about the property’s somewhat tenuous connection to movie star, Marilyn Monroe.
The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom property, which was taken off the market on July 8 following multiple price decreases, has now returned with the same lowered ask of $18.99 million.
Known as Stony Hill Farm, the estate features a picturesque primary residence that spans 8,556 square feet and sits on a 5.06-acre property, overlooking an additional 3.22 acres of agricultural reserve.
The dwelling has been on quite the adventure since the couple made their first attempt at selling it for $29 million in 2022, nearly 30 years after Baldwin purchased it for just $1.75 million.
In the past four years, the duo have slashed their asking price repeatedly, while bouncing the dwelling on and off the market multiple times—at one point even claiming that they had changed their minds about selling it altogether.
This time around, the Baldwins have enlisted a new agent and team to help them market the property—Lori Schiaffino and The Schiaffino Team at Compass—who have already begun touting the mansion's intriguing ties to actress Monroe and her husband, Arthur Miller, in a bid to draw in a buyer.
“In the summers of 1957 and 1958, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller spent their days in the pastoral landscape surrounding Stony Hill Farm, with their nearby farmhouse reportedly overlooking what is now this Amagansett estate,” the caption reads on an Instagram post shared on The Schiaffino Team's account.

That tiny cottage, which was part of the original Stony Hills Farm, before it was separated into multiple parcels, featured its own windmill—and was understood to have been used by the celebrity couple as a retreat from the paparazzi.
While the cottage itself is not part of the Baldwins' portion of the farm, the couple's agent has been quick to make clear their home's ties to the Hollywood legends, while also noting that that land surrounding their dwelling has an impressive heritage in the arts community.
“The natural beauty of this private corner of Amagansett has long attracted artists, writers, and public figures,” the post continues.
“Rich in history, surrounded by protected landscapes, and just minutes from Atlantic Avenue and Indian Wells beaches, Stony Hill Farm presents a rare opportunity to own an estate where Amagansett’s agricultural roots meet the ease of coastal living.”
Schiaffino did not respond to requests for comment.
The property’s return to the market is somewhat unexpected, given the couple’s fairly recent commentary about finding it difficult to “quit” the home.
“We keep coming back here because the kids are very happy,” Alec revealed in an August 2025 interview with The New York Times. “They love it here. When I go up to the kids and go, ‘Want to sell the house?’, they go crazy.”

The dwelling boasts 6.5 bathrooms. (Realtor.com) Hilaria also revealed earlier this summer that her family was still using the home, explaining that she and her children were planning to split the warm weather months between Spain—where some of her family members live—and the Hamptons residence.
"I'm going to spend half with my family [in Spain] and then I'll go back to the Hamptons," she told the Daily Mail.
She noted that the plan would give her family the chance to see whether they really wanted to continue their tradition of summering in the Hamptons, explaining: "I hope that we can spend more time [in Spain] and... with my family, and so we'll see.
"This is like we're testing the waters and seeing what that would be like, of summers there rather than the Hamptons."

The Baldwins have also previously received an offer on the home, shortly after listing it in January 2024, but ultimately backed out of their decision to sell.
Experts have weighed in on the scenario, with listing agent Jenny Lenz, managing director of Dolly Lenz Real Estate, telling Realtor.com® in March that the location is one of the home’s “challenges,” as it is “not considered prime for most buyers.”
“While Amagansett is trendy and idyllic, this property is north of the highway and off the beaten path, yet it’s priced as if it’s on a prime street in East Hampton or Southampton,” Lenz shared.
Lenz also maintained that the house would require a series of updates, calling it, “quite dated for the current market.”
“Buyers in this area are looking for more modern styles and either new construction or recently renovated homes,” she said.

A graphic included in the listing hints at possibility for potential buyers of the Amagansett estate, suggesting where a “proposed tennis court” could sit, as well as where a private vineyard, equestrian stable, or organic garden could be added.
Both Alec and Hilaria have previously attempted to leverage their fan bases to try and secure a buyer for their home, with the "Rust" actor appearing in a video tour of the property back in a January 2024 YouTube video posted by his previous listing agent.
In March of this year, Hilaria then posted a video to her Instagram account in which she touted the many impressive features of the home, while voicing her upset at the very idea of parting ways with it.
"You know how much we love the Hamptons, we've made the most amazing memories in our home," she said in the clip.
"We spend the summers in our pool. We go down to the beach which is really close to where we are. The kids go to camp there. … It is such an amazing, beautiful place," she continued.
"Our family is going to go off on a new adventure, which means we are selling our Hamptons home," she wrote in the accompanying caption. "It's bittersweet because we have made so many amazing memories there, and we are excited for our next chapter! While we are sad to leave it, we know the next owners will love it just as much as we do … so I wanted to share it here … it really is a piece of paradise.
